Public Facility Accessibility Projects

The Karmiel Economic Corporation Ltd has extensive know-how in the field of structural compliance with accessibility regulations. The Corporation is responsible for upgrading municipal assets in compliance with accessibility regulations and has ample experience in planning and carrying out accessibility projects. Over the past year, the Development Corporation carried out a broad accessibility project in public facilities, which covered the upgrade and compliance of five institutions with accessibility regulation. The project involved installing lifts, creating accessible bathrooms, and adding ramps for individuals with disabilities. In the near future the Development Corporation will launch the second phase of this project, which will cover all sports facilities, including those in schools, community centers, and others.
